The Project
We recognized a problem in the agro-industry. The harvesting of fruits from trees, exceptionally tall trees was a task that was prone to challenges and, in severe cases, fatalities. So we sought to remove human manual involvement in this task. We decided upon creating a drone with a robotic hand which was capable of harvesting fruits.

Other use case scenarios of our project include object retrieval from hard to reach places and surveillance.
Our project is based around a few inefficiencies and problems faced by many people.

Primary driver for this project is plucking fruits from trees, difficult and dangerous to reach by humans alone without proper skills or aid.
